Penelope turned two months old on May 28. A few days earlier she started to smile. Now if she's got a full tummy and she's in a good mood it's really easy to get her to do this:

This smile includes kicking and flailing on the new blanket that Grandma Luke made for Penelope. I'll take pictures of the other side soon. This is actually the back side.

that first smiling photo looks just like her daddy. What a cutie with those smiles and kicks of joy. We miss her lots.
So cute!! To answer your question, don't expect too much of yourself as you ease back into working. Be sure to not fill up nap times with too much expectation of getting work done. You need rest! Also, early bed times are your friend, and I would highly recommend working to establish an early bed time as she gets a bit older. I did a lot of report writing between the hours of 7pm to 10pm because it wasn't too late and I could count on James being asleep until his nighttime feeding at 3-4ish. My favorite sleep book is Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby - and he talks about bedtimes, etc. in there.
